ABOUT US

Founded in 1921, Mary J. Treglia Community House is a service-minded nonprofit that helps individuals and families who are new to Siouxland—a tri-state area that includes Sioux City, Iowa, along with South Sioux City, Nebraska, and North Sioux City, South Dakota.

For all newcomers to the community, we provide immigration and legal services, refugee resettlement and post-resettlement support, family services, translation and interpretation services, citizenship classes, multiple levels of English Language Learning (ELL) classes, and a fully accredited preschool.

These resources give newcomers the tools they need not only to become U.S. citizens but also to find jobs, raise their families, explore their passions, grow their confidence, and realize their dreams as they contribute to society in meaningful ways.
